Ah 2008. A huge year for gaming, 2008 offered some fantastic new games, started brand new franchises, and broke records left and right. However, as big as the past year has been, there are still plenty of reasons to be excited for the next one. Here are some of my most anticipated games of 2009:

1.  Killzone 2
2.  Ghostbusters
3.  Dragon Quest IX
4.  Resident Evil 5
5.  Bionic Commando
6.  Star Wars: The Old Republic
7.  Brutal Legend
8.  Halo 3: ODST
9.  Batman: Arkham Asylum
10. Wanted: Weapons of Fate

What about F.E.A.R 2?  Phantasy Star Portable?  But Brutal Legend is near the top as well.  So glad EA is picking it up for release.
